Howell James Tuten, 83, of Bradenton passed away Monday May 15, 2017. he was born November 9, 1933 in Madison County Florida.

Howell was always a hard worker and was a trucker driver for over 50 years. He was a proud Marine who served in the Korean war. He was a member of American Legion Christopher Cobb Memorial Post 312, Oneco, Florida and Disabled American Veterans Club Chapter 18, Bradenton, Florida. Howell was an avid NASCAR fan and loved old Western movies.

He is survived by loving Companion of 38 years Sheila Cobb, sons Howell Tuten Jr., of Tampa, Florida, Tony Tuten and Roe Tuten of Chiefland, Florida, Tommy Tuten of West Palm Beach, Florida and Timothy Tuten of Bradenton, Florida, daughter Rita (Tuten) Bluemenderg of Gainesville, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his stepson, Christopher R. Cobb.
